What Parents Need to Know About Kids & the COVID-19 Vaccine

You may have heard recently that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine has been approved for adolescents aged 12-15. In this video, Dr. Trina Blythe talks about why it’s important kids get the vaccine and how it will benefit your child and others in the community. Also, find tips for talking to your child about the vaccine and what to expect after they get the vaccine. So to schedule an appointment for your child 12+ to get the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, go to https://vaccinate.bjc.org/schedule.

Vaccines and boosters for all eligible ages are available through several BJC HealthCare locations, other members of the Pandemic Task Force, or retail pharmacies and vaccine sites across the region. Some pediatrician or primary care offices may also offer the COVID-19 vaccine to their patients, so check with your doctor as well!
