COVID-19 Vaccine: Myths vs. Facts

Getting the COVID-19 vaccine is safe according to research, encouraged, and the most significant step toward ending the pandemic; however, many may have questions about the vaccine – including how and when to get it.

Dr. Hilary Babcock, a Washington University infectious disease specialist at BJC HealthCare and Steven Player, PharmD, vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion at BJC HealthCare will answer your questions around vaccine development, share how vaccines work, debunk the myths or misinformation circulating, and discuss the pre-registration process: https://www.bjc.org/Coronavirus/Covid-19-Vaccines

Vaccines and boosters for all eligible ages are available through several BJC HealthCare locations, other members of the Pandemic Task Force, or retail pharmacies and vaccine sites across the region. Some pediatrician or primary care offices may also offer the COVID-19 vaccine to their patients, so check with your doctor as well!
