Alysa Ellis

Dr. Ellis is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Allergy, Immunology and Pulmonary Medicine. She attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City six-year combined B.A./M.D. program. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and completed her fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at Washington University. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Allergy Immunology. She is a member of several organizations, including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Ellis has an interest in community asthma education, and is currently working with the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Healthy Kids Express Asthma Van Program. This program travels to several area elementary schools and provides asthma care to an underserved population. It focuses on providing education to the children with asthma and encouraging them to take ownership and control of their disease.
